Our
studio was established in 1948 by Norm Williams who was born and raised
in Chilliwack. Passionate about his craft, Norm started a lifelong journey
of commitment to quality and expertise with his photography. Thirty
years later we met Norm at a convention and as we shared ideas a close
friendship developed, leading to our purchase of the studio in 1988.
We continued to operate the studio downtown until 1993, when the desire
to make some changes moved us and the business to a country setting
a short distance from downtown Chilliwack.
Norman’s Photographic now functions from a converted barn in a
country setting at the eastern edge of Chilliwack, surrounded by acreages
and farms. A small river with 2 docks runs through the property, with
rustic fencing, walkways, and mature landscaping, making it a perfect
setting for casual or formal portraits with a natural look.
As business partners for more than 25 years, owners Rick and Brenda
Davis work to create timeless portraits for your home and cherished
memories for your friends and family. With our commitment to satisfying
several generations of clients, we continue to expand our knowledge
and use of new techniques to create your portraits. Through ongoing
development of our craft, we strive to stay on the leading edge, continuing
the tradition that Norman started in 1948.
